Overview
Richie is one of the key characters in ANANTA: a dedicated officer of the Nova City Crime Agency (N.C.C.A.) who later joins the Captain’s A.C.D. Task Force. Officially described as someone who fights crime by day and grinds at night, her reputation on the streets is fearsome — criminals are explicitly advised to cooperate when she shows up.
Personality
Richie is methodical, no-nonsense and uncompromising on duty. She shows no leniency to criminals or even suspects, and even fellow N.C.C.A. officers treat her with caution. Beneath the fearsome exterior is a more relaxed, approachable person — her friendship with the Captain famously began when she mistakenly arrested them, was corrected, and was then bought a burger. She is also noted to always clean her plate at the N.C.C.A. canteen.
Appearance
Richie has short pink hair tied in a ponytail with two longer strands near her ears, and a large black hair clip on the left side of her bangs. She has two small light-blue horns on her forehead and a medium-sized lizard / dragon tail — physical traits consistent with a Kaiju Hybrid Esper, though not officially confirmed.
Role in the Story
Richie is affiliated with the N.C.C.A., the agency that absorbed Chaos-related law-enforcement duties after the A.C.D. was restructured. She first encounters the Captain when she mistakenly arrests them; after the misunderstanding is resolved and a meal is shared, she joins the crew. Bringing an active N.C.C.A. officer onto the A.C.D. Task Force is treated as a significant tactical and political asset.
